Servo Motors: Is there any problem in repeatedly bending and straightening the cable?
Question 9: Is there any problem in repeatedly bending and straightening the cable?

Answer : Motor cables and extension cables are not designed to be bent. Bending can shorten the life of cable, cause damage or breakage of the insulation film, or result in faulty operation of the motor. For applications in which the motor is mounted on a moveable part and the cable repeatedly bent and straightened, use a flexible cable with good resistance to bending.

Please note that only extention cables have flexible types. Please don't bent the motor cables.
