Question 23: Currently, I have an AR Series stepper motor, however I am confused between the +/- JOG function against the Forward/Reverse function. What are the differences between both?

Answer : The JOG function operates by pulses and frequency which can be preset beforehand. (via MEXE02), the movement which you toggle the JOG function and move accordingly to what is set.
The forward and reverse function acts as a continuous movement when toggled with no reference to pulses. It is somewhat of a scan function. The speed is according to the program speed which is set in the operation data tab.
