Stepping Motors: I am using a vertical lifter, with a stepping motor. What do I have to take note of?
Answer : Firstly, do include an electromagnetic brake as this will prevent your lifter from falling. Secondly, it will have regenerative force which can damage the driver and power supply. Do use rechargeable battery for DC powered type drivers, and regeneration unit for AC powered type drivers.
